Security Screens

Fixed screens for windows, in perforated aluminium or woven marine-grade stainless. Set into an aluminium frame slim enough to disappear. Light moves through the mesh. Air moves through it. So does the view.

Security Doors

Hinged or sliding, every door is built around the façade it sits in, not bolted onto it as an afterthought. The strength is there. It just doesn’t look like strength. It looks like design.

Flyscreens

Insect screening in the same slimline frames, for windows, doors and wide openings. A dozen meshes, from a fine fibreglass weave to a polyester that shrugs off a dog. Different job from a security screen, and we will always tell you which one you actually need.

Bellano builds security screens and doors, in aluminium and stainless steel, for homes and commercial properties across Cairns and the Far North. Forced entry, insects, impact: the mesh is built to take all three head-on. Your view stays open. Your light stays in. The air still moves.

Nothing is off-the-shelf. Every screen and door is made to your measurements and finished in your choice from a full range of powder-coat colours, so it reads as architecture, not a security add-on. On the northern beaches, from Smithfield through to Palm Cove, that usually means 316 marine-grade stainless rather than aluminium, because salt air is unforgiving and the stainless mesh never touches the frame.

Every hinged or sliding security door carries that same slimline look through to the entrance, and flyscreens are built in the same frames when insects are the actual problem. The range is growing too: gates, aluminium systems and glazing are next, which means eventually one spec, from a single supplier, covers the whole job.

Common questions

Do security screens block the view?

No. The mesh is woven fine enough that it barely registers as a shadow on the glass. Daylight comes through. The view stays yours. From the footpath, most people wouldn’t even clock that it’s there.

Are they tested to Australian Standards?

Yes. Every screen is tested to AS5041: knife-shear, jemmy and impact, the full suite. Frames are aluminium throughout, filled with either perforated aluminium or 316 marine-grade stainless mesh depending on the system you pick.

What colours and finishes are available?

A full range of standard powder-coat colours, plus anodised or fully custom finishes if you need to match something specific. Most people end up matching their screens and doors to the window frames, the cladding, or the joinery, down to the shade.

Do you supply and install, or supply only?

Both, your call. Bring your own trades and we’ll supply only, or let our team handle the install too. Just flag which one you want when you send your enquiry and we’ll price it that way.

Do you install in my suburb?

We measure and install across Cairns and the northern beaches, from Palm Cove and Clifton Beach down to Edmonton and Gordonvale. Outside that but still in the Far North? Ask anyway.

What's covered by warranty?

Two different things. Alspec covers the product: seven years on perforated aluminium, lifetime on 316 stainless. Bellano covers its own installation for ten years. They back the product, we back the fitting.
